~Discover support and guidance in your Mustang journey. We have trained over 50 wild Mustangs and love teaching others how to communicate through body language and pressure and release techniques, creating a line of communication between Mustang and trainer. Our facility is BLM Approved.
~Enroll your horse In training. Our specialty is starting colts and developing up green horses to be happy riding partners! Horses in training can expect a variety of activities including arena riding, groundwork, trail riding, obstacle training and a whole lot of FUN! Our mission is to create relaxed, soft and confident horses with a willing mindset that LOVE to work!
~Sign up for a lesson. Are you ready to grow your horsemanship and knowledge? Our one on one coaching teaches you how to communicate and train your own horse, navigating through the struggles and build a lasting bond. We want to teach you how to train, be confident and have FUN with your horse! Beginners through advanced welcome!

FAQ
Where are you located?
We are based out of Stonewater Ranch in Plain, WA near Leavenworth.
What is your facility like?
We are a BLM Approved facility and are set up to accommodate wild or unhandled horses . We have several 6ft tall pipe panel “Mustang” corrals. All of our fencing is 5ft-6ft tall pipe corral panels. Facility includes an indoor arena with sand footing, round pen, obstacle course and access to HUNDREDS of trail miles. We are located within a 2hr drive of the WA State Horse Park, Seattle and Appleatchee Riding facility, ideal for hitting shows and clinics.
How many days a week are horses in your program worked?
4-5 days a week. We believe variety makes happy and well rounded horses! Your horse can expect a fun mix of trail riding, ground work, arena riding and obstacles.
Do I get updates while my horse is in training?
Yes! We want to take you along on the training journey! We provide progress updates with photos every week. Every other week, you can expect a video update with a detailed write up on the progress of your horse. We are also happy to schedule a phone call or schedule a time for you to audit a training session.

Do you sell horses on consignment?
Not currently. We only sell our own personal horses. But we may know someone in the market so feel free to message us with details and we will pass along to our contacts!

Hey! We are the Steffen Sisters, Sierra and Marissa.
We are Mustang trainers, colt starters and problem solvers…that happen to also love Jumping and Dressage! Do these two worlds even mix?!? We think so! Our slogan is “Ordinary horses leading Extraordinary Lives” so Mustangs competing in 3 day eventing is absolutely possible!!
We know all GREAT things start with a solid foundation. One built upon trust, communication and respect. When you focus on these 3 principles, magic starts to happen with your horse! And the result, is a willing, happy, confident partner who is ready to tackle the world!
